Working across New England Designwise specializes in all phases of the architectural design process, from concept development to construction documents through construction administration we provide clients high value services for projects big & small. 

At Designwise, we believe in people-centered design, a process that envisions space based on the story of it’s occupants. Some stories are formed & refined prior to our introduction. Others are cultivated over time through conversation, exploration & iteration. Whatever the circumstance we strive to develop a relationship with the people we work with, making an effort to understand the unique needs of the client and the space. This process yields projects that are tailored to clients and spaces or buildings filled with character & authenticity.

Established in 2012 Designwise has worked on a variety of projects within the commercial & residential realms. From residential interiors to multi-building mill conversions to new construction mixed use, we enjoy every aspect of the design process.

Fascinated with systems & systems thinking Seth has worked in a variety of capacities within the building & design industry over the course of his career. Settling into the architectural industry, Seth’s work seeks to create a unique logic for each project regardless of scale. Moving through the design process, Seth leverages & refines this logic to inform design decision-making, detail development, material selection or the like. This process, greatly steered through client input, creates a narrative for construction, a framework that informs and reinforces the building process.

Seth studied Building Science (BS) & Industrial Design (BS) at Appalachian State University, while minoring in Sustainable Development. After working in the architectural industry in NYC Seth completed a Master of Architecture degree at Rhode Island School of Design. Seth is co-founder & managing partner of ConForm Lab, a design research company focused on specialty projects within the digital design & fabrication environment. Seth is an Associate Architect of the AIA actively pursuing licensure.
